Named for Eleanor Lamont Cunningham (class of 1932), the Cunningham Center for the Study of Prints, Drawings, and Photographs is a state-of-the-art facility where groups and individuals may examine and enjoy the more than 16,000 original works on paper owned by the Museum.
The Cunningham Center houses SCMA’s collection of more than 16,000 prints, drawings, photographs, and illustrated and artist's books. It functions as a public study center, the Selma Erving Seminar Room, collection storage, work space for matting and framing, and a small reference library.
The study center can accommodate groups of up to twenty-five people, and the seminar room is ideal for groups of ten or fewer. Both spaces are open to all visitors by appointment. Please call the Cunningham Center at 413.585.2764 to schedule a visit or to consult with a staff member about using our collection.
