This event is free and open to all!
Is art near and dear to your heart? From 4–8 p.m., celebrate the opening of the special exhibition Painting the Persianate World: Portable Images on Paper, Cloth and Clay.

Enjoy light refreshments in the atrium along with Hands-on! Art making for all ages, inspired by works on view, from 4–7 p.m.

From 4–8pm, celebrate Black History Month at SCMA! Drop by the museum’s Cunningham Center for Prints, Drawings and Photographs on the second floor to see a special installation of works curated by members of Smith College’s Black Faculty & Staff Affinity Group. Organized in partnership with Smith College's Office for Equity and Inclusion.
