Smith Arts Day events at SCMA include:

  • Campus School of Smith College Sixth-Grade Pop-Up Exhibition (11am–4pm, Cunningham Center)
     
  • Abstracting Nature: Drawings in Chalk Pastel Inspired by Georgia O'Keeffe (11am–4pm, Museum Atrium)
     
  • Experiences With Art @ SCMA (1:30–2:30PM, Meet in Lobby)
     
  • Curator-Led Tour of Younes Rahmoun, Here, Now (2:30–3:30pm, Meet in Lobby)
     
  • Visit the Museum Atrium for some fun art-making activities throughout the day

Introduced in 2024, the Smith Office for the Arts (SOFA) presents Smith Arts Day, a daylong celebration of the artistic and creative community at Smith College that brings the arts together—across disciplines and across campus. SOFA invites community members to attend performances, exhibitions, workshops, art-making activities, and more.
