Dragons and Tigers and Buddhas, Oh My!

Explore representations of Buddhist deities, tigers, dragons, and more in Buddhas | Buddhisms: Across and Beyond Asia, and then stamp your own narrative hand scroll of repeating images.

6pm Open Eyes: Guided conversation exploring a different art object each month.

Join our speakers for glimpses into their memories of artist Benny Andrews.

Benny Andrews is featured in the exhibition Black Refractions: Highlights from The Studio Museum in Harlem. As an artist, his art was never separate from his life and activism. Speakers include: Jonathan Bruce, Former Director of the CRT Craftery Gallery (Hartford, CT) and Artistic Director for former Huntington House Museum, Rosemary Tracy Woods, Executive Director, Art for the Soul Gallery (Springfield, MA).

Tea, coffee, and treats provided following the program.
