Join us for an evening of fun at the October 11 Second Friday! SCMA is free and open to all.
4–7pm: Hands-on! Art making for all ages, inspired by artwork on view. The artist Younes Rahmoun invites us to be in the here and now. What would your future self want to hear about your experience of the now? Create a multimedia “postcard to your future self” with a message that you can revisit in January, when SCMA sends it to you in the mail! Walk through the third floor gallery to discover a self-portrait by Diego Rivera, and find the note that he wrote to mark the moment of its creation.
4–8pm Explore and enjoy four floors of art!
