STEAM Halloween at the Haunted Museum

12:00 pm

What does an SCMA sculpture wear to trick-or-treat? What is the creepiest object in our collection? On the occasion of our centennial, we wonder, is the museum haunted? Join your hosts, the SCMA SMEs (Student Museum Educators), for a spooky silly afternoon of holiday hijinks inspired by artworks in the museum’s collection!

Registration required. RSVP here. Email ghall@smith.edu with questions.

Highlights include a STEAM-themed Costume Contest, museum monster mash, matching text and image to create a collaborative scary or silly story, and much more!

The Jandon Center for Community Engagement, Smith College Museum of Art, Design Thinking Initiative, Mwangi Cultural Center, Smith College Botanic Garden, Clark Science Center, Picker Engineering Program, Center for Religious and Spiritual Life and the Center for Design and Fabrication have contributed to this programming. We are grateful for the support of the Downtown Northampton Association.
