"Younes Rahmoun: Here, Now" Public Opening Reception

6–8pm

Join us for a public reception to celebrate the opening of Younes Rahmoun: Here, Now. This is the first North American exhibition devoted to the work of Younes Rahmoun, one of Morocco’s leading contemporary artists.

The exhibition galleries are located on the first floor and lower level. Complimentary light refreshments and cash bar in the atrium. This event is free and open to the public.

The People's Pop-up

Visit The People's Pop-up exhibition during SCMA's August 9 Second Friday from 4–8pm!

The People’s Pop-up exhibition, located on the second floor in the Cunningham Center,  is SCMA’s first exhibition curated by and for our audiences. Using digital polling, visitors voted on food-themed “potluck” artworks. Join us! SCMA is free and open to all!

August Second Friday

4–8pm

Join us for an evening of fun at the August 9 Second Friday! SCMA is free and open to all.

From 4–7pm, participate in Hands-on! Art making for all ages. Collaborate on banners to decorate our artmaking space. Scribble, mark up and doodle on table-length coloring sheets, using a variety of art supplies.

From 4–8pm, visit The People's Pop-up exhibition, created by the public and located on the second floor! The People’s Pop-up is SCMA’s first exhibition curated by and for our audiences. Using digital polling, visitors voted on food-themed “potluck” artworks.

Pride Pop-Up: Queer Identities in the SCMA Collection

4–8pm

Drop-by the museum's Cunningham Center for Prints, Drawings and Photographs on SCMA’s second floor to see a special installation of art by and of LGBTQIA+ artists and subjects from the museum's collection. This pop-up exhibition is part of June Second Friday and open to all!
